At the rear, newly shaped taillights featuring a distinctive star-inspired design add a modern touch, while the signature AMG exhaust system with twin tailpipe trims reinforces the vehicle’s performance credentials. The optimized turbocharger generates up to 21.8 psi of boost, ensuring strong performance across a wide range of engine speeds.
Complementing the combustion engine is a 181-horsepower electric motor, forming a 400-volt plug-in hybrid system. Together, they produce a combined output of 577 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque, delivering impressive acceleration and seamless power delivery. Instant torque from the electric motor—up to 354 lb-ft available from standstill—eliminates turbo lag and enhances responsiveness in every driving situation.
The result is a performance SUV capable of accelerating from 0–60 mph in just 4.4 seconds, while maintaining the ability to drive purely on electric power at speeds of up to 87 mph.
Charging capability is equally advanced. A 60-kW DC fast charger allows the battery to recharge from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 20 minutes, while a 9.6-kW onboard AC charger ensures convenient home charging.
