The 2026 Jeep® Recon marks the brand’s move into an electric future as the first fully electric Trail Rated SUV. Built on a dedicated EV platform, it delivers true Jeep 4x4 capability with standard all-electric four-wheel drive, multiple Selec-Terrain modes, 650 horsepower, and 620 lb.-ft. of instant torque, achieving 0–60 mph in as little as 3.6 seconds and offering an estimated range of up to 250 miles.

Designed for a new kind of adventure, the Jeep Recon pairs its electrified powertrain with unmistakably Jeep styling and forward-thinking features for confidence on and off the trail. Production begins early next year at the Toluca Assembly Plant, launching first in the U.S. and Canada before expanding globally.

Built to Perform: Electrified Architecture Delivers 4xe Strength and Daily Driving Comfort
The Jeep Recon, the only fully electric Trail Rated SUV, is built to handle everything from city streets to rugged trails with its dual 250-kilowatt Stellantis-designed electric drive modules. These compact front and rear EDMs integrate the motor, gearing and power electronics to deliver instant, precise torque with 620 lb.-ft. available on demand. The Moab trim amplifies capability with a 15:1 rear final drive ratio for greater torque multiplication, while an electronic locking differential, strong half shafts and CV joints, and protected 100-kWh battery enhance off-road durability. The front EDM’s 11:1 ratio and wheel-end disconnects help optimize efficiency during everyday driving.

Trail performance is further supported by a responsive SLA front and integral-link rear suspension, standard 33-inch Moab tires, and 9.4 inches of ground clearance, delivering approach, departure and breakover angles of 34, 34.5 and 23.5 degrees. The Selec-Terrain system adds Rock mode on the Moab trim, enabling refined throttle control, two-pedal driving and hill hold for navigating uneven terrain. Low-speed Selec-Speed Control manages vehicle speed on steep inclines and declines, allowing the driver to focus fully on steering.

The 2026 Jeep Recon blends bold proportions, world-class craftsmanship and unmistakable Jeep DNA, combining heritage cues with a modern all-electric vision. Expansive glass and an upright front with illuminated seven-slot grille rings and U-shaped DRLs create a distinctive look, while open-air freedom comes from a standard dual-pane sunroof or available Sky One-Touch Power Top. It’s also the only fully electric vehicle with removable doors, rear-quarter glass and swing-gate glass, all tool-free.
